A charity fundraiser in Muir of Ord raised thousands of pounds for Highland Hospice.
Ness Factor finalist Gregor Matheson held a coffee morning and afternoon tea in the village hall last weekend.
He said: “Friday was a great day and a huge success raising in the region of £2500 for the Highland Hospice.
“I would like to say a special thank you to my mum Alison Matheson and her friends who helped throughout the day.”
Entertainment was provided by Mr Matheson and other musicians: Hamish Polson, Marlene Yule, Ross Brindle, Adrian Moody and Ellis Macfadyen.
Mr Matheson said: “Thanks to the many people who donated, the local businesses for kind donations and also Helena Macleod for use of the village hall.”
He is one of nine finalists taking part in this year’s Ness Factor singing competition.
