The Inverness Senior Social Tea Dance took place on Saturday, to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Locals gathered at Toe2Toe Dance Studios in the city where they enjoyed lots of dancing, tea and coffee and scones.
There were also plenty of Jubilee props including flags and even a cardboard cut-out of the Queen herself.
Music was supplied by Frankie Fraser and Gramophone DJ Martin Mackay, helping to keep the dancers on their toes all day long at the free event.
The event was organised by Liz Sutherland and Nicola McAlley and went down a treat.
The group tea dance was a regular fixture in 2018 but was put on hold when the pandemic began.
Organisers hope to make them a regular fixture again and will be looking into future dates for planning.
A spokesperson for Toe2Toe Dance said: “We had a fantastic time hosting the Jubilee Tea Party for Inverness Senior Social Tea Dances. It was brilliant to see lots of smiley, happy faces.
“Huge well done to Lizzy Sutherland and Tesco Extra and Nicola McAlley and all the volunteers for all their hard work.”
Organiser Nicola McAlley said: "Again a huge thanks to the volunteers who make the event possible, Liz Sutherland and Susan Macrae from Tesco Community Champions, Frankie Fraser and Martin Mackay for providing our music and Tris and Jen at Toe2Toe Dance for being our hosts in their fantastic venue.
"Thanks again for your support."
