POLICE have praised their youth volunteers for their efforts after the Inverness group helped out at the city's recent half marathon.

The Inverness group manned a water station and also helped to cheer the many runners on as they tackled the course.

"Thank you to all involved, and well done to all the runners taking part," said a Police Scotland spokesperson.
