Snow is giving way to sleet and rain in and around Inverness.

People have been out and about around Inverness despite some very wintry conditions.

Snow returned to the city today with warnings of disruption due to the conditions, including ice, between now and tomorrow morning.

Inverness is expected to see sleet until this evening with light clouds and winds expected early tomorrow morning, to be followed by light rain from mid afternoon.
