The Oor Wullie statues that have decorated the streets of Inverness this summer are about to be auctioned off for charity

Ahead of this fans can get one last chance to see them all together at the Eastgate Shopping Centre from now until Sunday.

Along with others that have graced the streets of Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee as part of Oor Wullie's Big Bucket Trail they will be auctioned off later this year in aid of the Archie Foundation, the official charity of Highland Children’s Unit at Raigmore Hospital.

A spokesman for the project said: "We would like to thank everyone who has been a support to us throughout the trail, including The Leith Agency who kindly donated their time and resource to create incredible radio adverts, outdoor posters, on-train posters and in-station posters, promoting the trail all across the country.

"A huge thank you on behalf of the children, young people and their families who will be better supported and comforted as a direct result of the trail!"
