From sporting events to fun in the great outdoors, inspiring collective efforts and dramatic scenes, there has been plenty going on in 2022.

Who really knows what the next 12 months will bring for any of us but whatever happens hopefully you can enjoy a few moments here with just a handful of the amazing, evocative images our talented team of photographers managed to capture in the year just gone.
