SPORTING and musical fun were just some of the family-friendly activities to delight all ages when Nairn celebrated World Gaelic Week.
The celebrations kicked off at Nairn Community and Arts Centre when it hosted a Junior Fèis Day jam-packed with music, sport, art and culture. Activities included a series of workshops during the day before a family ceilidh in the evening.
Later in the week, the celebrations also saw Millbank Primary School’s Gaelic medium children take to the stage with drama performances of Shrek and Snow White’s Wee Warriors.
The various festivities, which ran until Sunday, focussed on a theme of ‘Coming Together’, and were organised by Comann nam Pàrant, Inbhir Narainn and Fèis Inbhir Narainn.
