AN Inverness pub did its bit to help a children's charity at the weekend.

Guests at the Fluke Inn last Sunday joined the pub's family fun day, a fundraising event for Make-a-Wish UK, which the pub has joined in March as part of the effort by the Sizzling pubs chain.

The event involved a quiz and raffle, with all donations going directly to Make-A-Wish, raising a a total of £175 from the event.

Lee Cargill, general manager at the Fluke, said: “At the Fluke we pride ourselves on being at the heart of the local community, and this charity partnership will help make a big difference to the lives of children and their families both in Inverness and across Scotland and the UK.

“We’re so proud to be supporting Make-A-Wish UK as part of our Sizzling Community Change campaign, and it was great to welcome faces old and new to the Fluke for our family fun day and raise money for this brilliant cause in the process.”
