PICTURES: Inverness care home residents celebrate the jubilee with a party

RESIDENTS at Isobel Fraser Care Home enjoyed a jubilee party on Saturday to celebrate 70 years of Queen Elizabeth's reign.

The residents had a lovely day.

Swing singer George Gordon supplied the tunes and highland ponies Peaches and Edward gave lots of cuddles to those in attendance.

There was a delicious selection of food made in ouse including a wonderful fresh victoria sponge with fresh fruit.

Kara Mackay from the home said: "It was such a lovely afternoon to have the residents with their family and friends again making memories, as it has been such a hard two years with Covid 19.

"It was lovely to see everyone smiling and laughing again. The sun most certainly had his hat on!"
