Highland dancers ensured a Christmas show did go on after planned performances were affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

But the centre’s development officer Elsie Normington said the performers had still managed to put on a great show and in spite of all the restrictions they had been able to create joy.

"There were about 24 dancers from four years old to 18 years old," she said.

"They were doing their Highland dancing to Christmas songs which was really great fun. We also had a couple of people with learning disabilities singing along to some Christmas songs."
