IF you spot Superman in a tartan tammy at the wheel of a vintage tractor being pushed by a duo of kilted muscle-bound men, chances are you're at the Black Isle Show.

This year's event provided an opportunity for many members of the farming community from across the north to gather together and catch up in a convivial atmosphere, as well as contest a huge variety of competitions and present their livestock for judging.

It was also a chance for members of the public to get a glimpse into the hard work that goes on year round in agriculture and enjoy the ever-growing number of side attractions laid on by the organisers of the event, the Black Isle Farmers' Society.

We've already carried a number of picture galleries from this year's event as well as coverage in print but couldn't resist one last one for 2023 as organisers now turn their attention to plans for 2024.
