A popular Christmas market in Ross-shire was back in force this year with its most successful event to date.
The Christmas market at Ross County saw people from all over gathering at the Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall on Saturday, setting the scene for the festive season.
The headcount on the day saw 1548 visitors coming to browse the stalls and £420 raised on the day for the Highland Hospice.
Commercial manager Lorraine Christie said: "It was a really lovely day and it was a great success.
"We had 34 stalls which were a good variety of products on offer – there was food, crafts and local businesses with their products.
"Everybody that attended seemed to be happy with the selection and enjoy their visit
"The people commented saying that they enjoyed the location and being inside.
"There were people from all over coming along and having a browse
"We brought it a couple of weeks earlier this year which I think was helpful."
"It's so good to support local businesses – and many people said that many commented that it was importantto them to support local business."
The event also featured activities for children – from sand art tables to a Christmas photo backdrop, disco, and party games as well as snacks and a visit from Santa.
