A fun day for children has raised around £400 for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.

Strictly Inverness dancer Jade Robertson (29) was behind the fundraising day out at Dalneigh Scout Hall.

Face-painting, a raffle, a bake sale and a bouncy castle all entertained the children who were also joined by the caped crusader Batman and Bobby the Bee.

Jade, a self-employed hairdresser and mother-of-two, turned to exercise to cope with anxiety.

So this year she decided to join up to Strictly Inverness with dance partner Luke O’Brien (31) from Dingwall.
