A SPECIAL family fun day to mark a Highland charity’s 10th anniversary has been hailed a success by organisers.
Reach4Reality works with young people with social interaction difficulties such as autism and offers them outdoor activity breaks catered to their needs.
And to mark its milestone it held a party and day of outdoor fun at the Dochgarroch locks on the Caledonian Canal last week.
As well as offering free activities it also took the occasion to present some of its young people with their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Activities the youngsters enjoyed at the fun day included canoeing and biking sessions, Smartie archery, hoopla, an Easter egg hunt and other games.
The day’s festivities were free, but donations were also welcomed.
"It went well," said the charity's Sylvia Longbottom, who added that the day saw three different groups go out canoeing and another group biking.
"The cake was absolutely amazing," she continued. "It was made and decorated by one of our young adults were working with".
"We also have several young people come who are from our waiting list, who came to do canoeing."
She said that there were three people from the waiting list who had also popped along, out of a waiting list of about 25 or 26.
The charity is currently advertising for additional staff so that more people from the waiting list can attend the group, and they are also eager to hear from potential volunteers.
