PICTURES: Fallen tree closes Hilton Avenue in Inverness

A fallen tree has closed Hilton Avenue in Inverness this morning.

Contractors are on the scene equipped with chainsaws and wood chippers to remove it.

It is not known what caused it to fall down onto a car which was parked at the time of its collapse.

Signs were placed at the end of the road to warn drivers.
