PUPILS at an Inverness school showed off their impressive acting and singing skills in two Christmas plays before the holidays.
Primary 1 to 3 pupils at Duncan Forbes Primary took their Simply Nativity show on stage, while their counterparts in P4 to P7 classes performed The Magical Christmas Box.
Like many other schools, it was the first time families had been able to attend Christmas shows since Covid restrictions were imposed.
Wendy MacKay, head teacher at Duncan Forbes Primary, spoke about the senior pupils’ festive offering.
“The Magical Christmas Box follows Jenny and Jake as they visit different places to do with Christmas using the magic box given to them by their grandfather to put a jigsaw together,” she said.
“During the play they visit Christmas trees and presents, food and crackers, snowmen and snowflakes, elves and Santa and finally Bethlehem, the centre piece of their jigsaw.
“There were brilliant songs and acting by the children on the day.”
