Every day in the run up to Christmas we'll be looking back at events from festive periods in recent years.
With this Christmas being like no other, we wanted to try and put smiles on faces as we count down to the big day.
Day 12 - Today's pictures come from last December when a Black Isle community which had blazed a trail in bridging the generation gap raised a glass to the success of the initiative at a very special get-together.
The Black Isle Cares group, which played a key role identifying and helping to fill in gaps in provision for older people in the area, had forged strong links with Fortrose Academy down the years with a range of initiatives which include regular board games days at the school.
They held a get-together at the Free Church Hall in Fortrose to celebrate the connections which had been made.
