SONGS and laughter filled the air as Inverness College UHI’s nursery enjoyed one of its biggest Christmas concerts yet.

With a huge turnout of parents, as well as special elderly guests, all of the generations were united for party fun, food and games.

Early learning and childcare manager Cat Mackenzie said: “It was our first Christmas show for the whole family, with a great attendance – one of the best we’ve ever had. We also had guests from the Brighterkind Kingsmills Care Home, where we go twice a term to visit.

“It was lovely to have them come and join us in return and great to continue to build their relationship with the children.

“It was a roaring success and I can only thank the parents for being so supportive by providing hampers and other fundraising contributions.”

Versions of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Merry Christmas and When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney went down a storm and the concert drew to a close with a rendition of the Reindeer Hokey-Cokey, with parents taking to the floor with the children.
