PICTURES: Brora Rangers football club annual dinner is a success after a three-year break – Entertainment on the night was provided by live band Rhythmnreel at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness
Brora Rangers football club has held its annual dinner for the first time in three years.
A total of 150 tickets were sold for the event at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness.
Entertainment on the night was provided by live band Rhythmnreel who club chairman David Dowling said had proved hugely popular, with the dance floor busy from their first number through to the end of the night.
“We had sold 150 tickets, mainly to local businesses, some of whom come back year after year,” he said.
“There were a few late call-offs, which is pretty inevitable, but we had fairly close to that number in attendance.
“I have to compliment the Kingsmills Hotel whose attention to detail was very pleasing.”
Mr Dowling said that, as well as enjoying a good time, guests were also extremely generous and the event raised £13,500.
Next year’s dinner is planned for August 25, 2023.
