Organised by the Rotary Club of Inverness Loch Ness crews began the day at Inverness Ice Centre where they were flagged off by rotary district governor Heather Stuart.

The group headed out to the west coast and onto Skye where they stopped for lunch and returned via Kyle of Lochalsh and through Glenshiel and Invermoriston, ending the route along the iconic Loch Ness.

Cars on the tour included a Triumph TR6, a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and a rare Bristol 412 with more modern cars also joining in the action including a BMW i8 and a Porsche 911.

This year’s event raised more than £5000 for Prostate Scotland and the charity’s communications and supporter care officer Morag Idan was present at the awards ceremony.

President of the club, Ormond Smith, said: “A most enjoyable and successful day, held in glorious weather and amid quite outstanding scenery.”
