PICTURES: Classic cars flood the streets of Inverness
THE Inverness Classic Vehicle Show returned for the first time since the pandemic showcasing more than 190 vintage vehicles around the city centre on Saturday.
The free event was also host to a variety of entertainment including buskers, free face painting and performers.
Inverness BID organised the event which saw a parade of the vehicles at 3pm as they left the city, led by the City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band as cars went down the High Street.
Mike Smith, from BID, said: “This was the 12th classic vehicle show organised by BID and the first since 2019. The response from everybody, the public, the car owners, the motorbike owners and the businesses was fantastic and I think the crowds at the parade were the biggest we had seen yet.
“It was a great credit to Inverness city centre and the businesses there because it was an amazing success. The public and car owners loved it.”
