PICTURES AND VIDEO: Light show spectacular at Inverness bonfire and fireworks

Bonfire Night went off with a bang at Bught Park in Inverness as people turned up in droves to enjoy the annual fireworks display.

The finale of the evening was a high-energy light show watched by thousands who made their way down to see the bonfire on Sunday.

Before the fire was lit at 6pm, there was a funfair and catering village open from 5pm, followed by a performance from the Fly Agaric Fire Display team.

The spectacular 20-minute musical fireworks display was staged by the award-winning Fireworx Scotland, and received cheers and applause from the crowd at the end.
