Crowds flocked in Nairn for one of the most popular events of the year.

Hundreds gathered at the Links for the Nairn Highlands Games.

Visitors and contestants enjoyed a sunny and breezy day with plenty of food and drinks stalls available on the day.

With Nairnites from all over the world coming for the occasion as well as local crowds, it was a day to cherish.

Convener Hugh Allison said this was one of the largest crowds he has seen at the gathering in almost 40 years as a committee member.
