Charges follows midnight road drama in Highlands town

A woman has been charged following late night drama on Kingussie's High Street.

Police were called to an incident on the Badenoch capital's High Street – a section of the A86 – just past midnight.

Reportedly three vehicles had been damaged in an accident.

A spokesperson for the Police Scotland told Highland News & Media: “We were called around 00.18 on Sunday (April 23) to a report of a car involved in a collision with two parked vehicles on the High Street in Kingussie.

“The driver, a 37-year-old woman, was arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence.

"She is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court at a later date.”
