Locals enjoyed a charity breakfast at The Mustard Seed in Inverness to help out a dancer’s fundraising efforts, generating just over £900.

Luke Webber (39) hosted the event at the restaurant, where he is head chef, to help fundraise for his part in Strictly Inverness.

At £10 per person, guests enjoyed delicious local produce kindly provided by Williamson Foodservice, Bidfood, Duncan Fraser Fishmongers, Munro of Dingwall and The Bakery.

Luke decided to take part in the competition after seeing it on Facebook.

“I thought why the hell not!” he said. “Also this year I turn the big 40 and I’m wanting to do as many things as possible that take me out of my comfort zone!

“I’ve reached a personal landmark in my sobriety and this has given me the confidence to get out there again and strut my stuff!
