An admin assistant with Scottish Fire and Rescue roped in firefighters to help in her bid to raise funds for the charity dance competition.
Janie McRobert (52) raised £932 through the event at Inverness Fire Station which she split between her fundraising for the Highland Hospice, Inverness Ice Centre and The Fire Fighters Charity.
Cars left squeaky clean and some visitors even had tours of a fire engine.
It is Janie’s final fundraising push before the big performance later this month in front of a panel of judges and a 600-strong audience.
She has raised more than £5200 so far.
Mrs McRobert said: “It was brilliant and really good fun. Lots of people came and it was busy.
“I’m getting a little nervous [for the competition] but excited as well. It’s all for charity so it’s all in good fun. It’s been full on preparing and I have lots of bruises!”
Janie’s dancing partner is Graeme Bell, who recently hosted a ceilidh in Nairn to add to the fundraising total.
