A PICNIC lunch for six people on the lawn at Kilcoy Castle near Muir of Ord is up for grabs in a charity fundraising raffle.

The fundraiser is being organised by the Haven Appeal which plans to develop Scotland’s first integrated centre for children and young adults with multiple and complex needs at a site in Inverness.

The prize to be taken between August 4 and 9 also includes a tour of the gardens which are currently not open to the public.

The appeal was recently awarded £1.1 million by the Big Lottery Community Fund, taking it beyond the halfway target of £4 million.

The Haven Centre to be build on a derelict site at Smithton will feature respite flats, a specialist play centre, community coffee shop and garden.

Raffle tickets can be bought for £15 by emailing rona@havenappeal.org.uk
