A photographer is offering prints of his work for sale, with the proceeds going to charity.

Ross Cooper has had a number of his scenic images professionally printed and is offering them for sale to raise funds for Inverness Foodstuff.

The charity provides nutritious hot meals twice a week for the homeless and vulnerable at the city’s Ness Bank Church.

Mr Cooper, who would currently be at the height of the busy season for his wedding photography business if it was not for the coronavirus restrictions, said he wanted to do what he could to help.

“Inverness Foodstuff are a charitable organisation that provide meals to the most vulnerable in our community, whether that be elderly people that can’t get out to the shops right now, or families that are struggling to put food on their own tables,” he said. “During this current crisis, there is increased demand for their services and I would imagine they are also a friendly face for people who may not be seeing anyone at present due to current restrictions.

“It costs Inverness Foodstuff £5 to provide a three-course meal of soup, a main and dessert.

“I recently had photos of Castle Stuart Golf Links, St Andrews Links, Eilean Donan Castle, Cameo Island, Zante in Greece, Loch Farr and Kessock Bridge printed out by the excellent Saal Digital UK. I am going to sell these prints on Facebook, with all money raised going to Inverness Foodstuff.”

Mr Cooper has set a minimum price of £25 on each print.
