Black Isle Belter running times confirmed as Peat & Diesel gear up for weekend of fun
REVELLERS heading for a Black Isle Belter with Peat & Diesel and friends this weekend have today been given a heads-up on running times for the eagerly anticipated event.
The Black Isle Belter, due to take place in the Black Isle Showground in Muir of Ord, will feature two days of music and fun from Peat and Diesel and other renowned bands.
The Saturday (May 25) is a age 16-plus show where The View join as main support for their first Highland show in years.
Across both days there will be a funfair, street food, bars, the Peat and Diesel Trucks and the true star of the show ‘Calum Dan’s Van’.
Peat and Diesel drummer Uilly said ahead of the event: "We’re not only delighted to announce our biggest headline shows but excited to have two days of music and fun with you all in the Highlands.
“We’re overjoyed to have both The View and The Feeling come along and join us for these shows, bands that have been bringing you belters for nearly 20 years. The Highlands has been a very special place for us as a band over the last 5 years and we wanted to come back with a bang, well two bangs!"
Nominated charities Cash for Kids and Mikeysline have both paid tribute to the band.
