Highland Council announces temporary closure of a length of Anderson Street, Inverness

Part of Anderson Street in Inverness will be temporarily closed while essential railway bridge inspection works are being carried out on behalf of Network Rail.

The closure will be in operation between 10pm on Monday, April 25 and 6am on Tuesday, April 26.

The affected length of Anderson Street is a cul-de-sac and there are no alternatives routes available for vehicular traffic.

The U3761 Anderson Street will be closed at its junction with the U3818 Brown Street and extend south to its end in a turning head, a distance of approximately 165 metres.
