Bellfield Park's paddling pool is open again.

A spokesman for the facility in Inverness said: "We are pleased to announce that following the hard work of our dedicated park caretakers, we are now in a position to have the paddling pool open free for anybody.

"We will be aiming to have the pool open from 11am-5pm, seven days a week – weather and circumstances permitting.

"We kindly ask that when the gate is locked and the sign reads closed you don't try and access the pool.

"As the pool is unsupervised we strongly request that all children are supervised at all times.

"Please note that we also do not permit dogs within the confines of the pool area.

"Strictly no glass should be taken into the pool surround.

"We hope that the weather is kind to us over the summer holidays and you all enjoy the fantastic facilities that Bellfield Park has to offer."
