A man and woman will be sentenced next month for an assault at Inshes Retail Park.

Danny Mackenzie (25), of Mackintosh Place, pleaded guilty at Inverness Sheriff Court to pushing a woman and causing her to fall to the ground on October 17, 2018.

Nicole Hargreaves (20), of Polvanie View, Inverness, pleaded guilty at an earlier court to the same offence and reports were called for by Sheriff Margaret Neilson.

Last Friday Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald deferred sentence on Mackenzie and said both accused should be dealt with at the same time by Sheriff Neilson.

Sentence was deferred until a later date.
