The Oor Wullie "Oor Nevis" sculpture passed Urquhart Castle.

A sculpture that sat outside Inverness Castle this summer was back in the area last weekend.

“Oor Nevis” formed part of Oor Wullie’s Big Bucket Trail for children’s charity the Archie Foundation and was sold at auction to healthcare consultancy Higher Ground Health Care Planning Ltd.

The firm then brought him to Loch Ness as part of a tour of rural health facilities.

Director, Norman Sutherland, said: "We have decided to send Oor Nevis on a national journey to highlight that health and social care delivery doesn’t just happen in towns and cities, and look forward to receiving photos from his adventure over the coming months.

"We hope these will highlight the fantastic work being done in beautiful and remote parts of Scotland."
