An Olympian is joining an Inverness gym for a very special workout.

Bronze medallist, professional boxer and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Anthony Ogogo will join a Facebook Live session with members of the Tribe Fitness club, based in Inverness, tomorrow morning for a seven minute workout.

The class, one of a number of online session being run by gym owner Kevin Campbell, will see the pair share a session with followers during the coronavirus lockdown.

Mr Campbell (37) said: "I am delighted that Anthony Ogogo has agreed to join me for a fitness session.

"I follow him on Instagram and I just thought I would contact him, as I knew he has a new seven minute workout plan that would suit members of Tribe Fitness.

"He agreed straight away, and we are running the class live.

"The session is free so that anyone who wants to jump in and take part will be more than welcome."

Mr Campbell explained that anyone who wants to take part should like his page at https://www.facebook.com/TribeFitness1/, and at 10am he will appear, and then the screen will split when Mr Ogogo joins him for the class. The class will remain online for 24 hours.

Mr Campbell said: "Anthony will be putting me, and everyone who comes along, through their paces."

During the coronavirus restrictions Mr Campbell has taken his gym online and is continuing to offer support to those people who work with him for personal and group training sessions.

He said: "With the current climate I have moved all my fitness training online. We have been having regular Facebook Live workouts and we have been meeting up just to chat and find out how everyone is doing.

"At the time of the lockdown we were about to start one of our eight-week courses and 120 people had signed up to take part. I am looking forward to after lockdown and getting things started back at the gym."
