ANOTHER 165 homes could soon be in the pipeline for the Inshes area of Inverness.

Mary M Duncan and Upland Development have lodged a proposal of application notice (PAN) with Highland Council as a precursor to going for planning permission.

The PAN relates to about 9.76 hectares (24 acres) at Inshes Farm to the south of the Wester Inshes 3 development site, which is under construction.

The proposal relates to the residential development and associated infrastructure of the site, all as identified in the adopted Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan and land identified in the Inshes and Milton of Leys Development Brief.

The land comprises open fields and extends southwards towards Milton of Leys.

The Dell of Inshes road defines the east boundary of the site, while Inshes Park defines the west boundary.

The proposed development includes infrastructure and connections to the existing road network.

Two online consultation meetings via Zoom have been arranged – one on February 3 and one on February 24, both from 2pm-4pm.
