NHS Highland have posted a special message online to praise a student who has qualified in professional cookery.
Bradley Gillespie was studying with the health board as part of its commitment to modern apprenticeships.
An NHS spokeswoman said: "Huge congratulations to Bradley Gillespie who was recently presented with his Modern Apprentice (MA) in professional cookery certificate.
"Bradley, who joined NHS Highland in 2018 as a catering assistant within hotel services at Raigmore Hospital, recently achieved his MA in professional cookery.
"Bradley’s portfolio impressed the training provider and Linda Skinner, NHS Highland’s Apprenticeships Advisor, so much that he was nominated for a merit portfolio. He was presented with a certificate of merit for his work."
Linda Skinner, education, learning and development advisor (apprenticeships) for NHS Highland, said: “Bradley completed his MA in good time, and consistently completed homework and tasks presented to him to a very high standard.
“Bradley has developed so much over the six months he took to complete his MA. He has improved in confidence and completing his MA has heightened his desire for further learning.”
NHS Highland is committed to use MA programmes to up-skill existing staff and to recruit new staff members.
