Keep calm and ceilidh on states the sign outside the newest pub in Inverness.

Highlander has now opened in Church Street. It is a sister venue to the Gellions in Bridge Street.

It is in premises that previously housed an Ashers bakery outlet. It was also a target for international pub chain BrewDog but it abandoned efforts after twice being knocked back by Highland Council officials.
