New Taster of Inverness event showcases the best of Highland produce

To help showcase the local produce that the Highlands has to offer, Visit Inverness Loch Ness curated some phenomenal foodie sessions in Inverness.

The event was hosted at the Drumossie Hotel where lots of Scottish food vloggers were invited along to wine and dine with representatives of some of Inverness's most prominent eateries.

From home-made cakes and ice cream, to incredible hand crafted beer and whisky, it's fair to say that this event was a haven for all foodies.

MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin also attended today's event and performed a live cooking demonstration using some of the region's very best produce.

Digital engagement manager at Visit Inverness Loch Ness, Jo Page, said: "The Taster of Inverness came about because food and drink is a massive reason for people discovering new places and we have an amazing local lauder to talk about in the Highlands, so we decided to do as much collaboration as we can incredible local businesses.

"Today many Scottish food vloggers have had the chance to meet the local producers of the Highlands and see what they have to offer."
