New Post Office opens near Loch Ness

Drumadrochit Post Office opened yesterday at a new location – Great Glen Pharmacy.

This is a new-style Post Office service with Post Office serving points alongside the retail counter of the nearby pharmacy.

The opening hours are Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm; Saturday: 9am-1pm. This is an extra 10.5 hours of Post Office service a week than previously.

David Duff, Post Office network provision manager, said: “We are pleased to find a permanent premises for Drumnadrochit Post Office and with longer opening hours for the convenience of customers.”

The previous branch closed on Monday.
