Plans have been lodged with Highland Council for the installation of a new sign in Inverness.

The applicant, Javed Aziz, is hoping to install an illuminated LED advertising sign for a pizza outlet in Harbour Road.

It would be 1.3m by 8.95m wide with an integrated photo cell and mounted onto brackets – with the light and bracket powder coated black to match the rest of the signage.

Mr Aziz is also proposing would be white and orange vinyl letters applied to the face of the sign for the business – Fireaway which promises designer pizza in 180 seconds.

The planning application is currently awaiting a decision and is with planning officers at the council.
