Scottish Citylink is introducing a new Mercedes coach to service the 961 Ullapool to Inverness bus route.

The firm has partnered with D&E Coaches to introduce the new 61-seat Mercedes Tourismo coach on the 961 bus route between Inverness and Ullapool.

The vehicle is fitted with a number of features including seat back tables, USB charging points and live map monitoring/live tracking during the journey.

Scottish Citylink offers two return services a day in each direction between Ullapool and Inverness seven days a week during its summer timetable which runs until October 15, connecting with ferries to the Western Isles.

Scottish Citylink operations director Simone Smith said: “We are delighted to introduce a new, modern coach with more comfort and customer features than before between Inverness and Ullapool, in partnership with D&E Coaches who we have worked with for many years.

“We hope our customers on these three routes enjoy travelling in greater comfort and style and look forward to welcoming them on board in the coming weeks and months.”

Tickets are available at citylink.co.uk
