KILTARLITY could be set to expand further if an application for 30 homes on the Glebe is given the go-ahead by Highland Council.

Ian Gray, the owner of Glebe Farm, has made the application for the dwellings which will include eight that are “affordable”.

He wants to develop a level grazing field adjacent to existing new housing in the village.

The design statement by Reynolds Architecture describes the village as having a combination of open farmland and adjoining pockets of mature woodland that “create an open, attractive setting”

The existing Glebe housing development is now well developed and nearing completion.

The design statement adds: “The proposal will enhance the settlement by consolidating the existing Glebe development.”
