A NEW financial planning firm, with its foundations in the Highlands, is offering a tailor-made service.

57 North Financial Planning, launched by Dan Murdoch at The Green House in Inverness, will develop bespoke services for clients.

The company intends to engage with new clients across the country to advise and help them navigate through life’s difficult financial decisions such as, retirement and pension planning.

After being a contestant of Strictly Inverness and regularly attending fundraising events for other charities such as Mikeysline, Dan will look to continue to give back to the local area.

“I am really looking forward to getting started,” Dan said. “The story behind the name, comes from Inverness being on the latitude of 57 degrees north, and finances sometimes being a scary place, where clients can become lost in the jargon and minutia. The ambition is that 57 North will help navigate clients through these obstacles and on their journey to their financial aspirations.

“Given the current financial climate we find ourselves in, and the ongoing economic uncertainty, now more than ever, I feel it is important to receive quality, face-to-face advice and bring stability to peoples’ financial plans.”
