NEW 24-hour health club Anytime Fitness Inverness has officially opened its doors and is ready to support the health goals of the local community.

The 5,000 sq ft club has breathed new life into the disused Arnold Clark Skoda showroom on Harbour Road and provides members with round-the-clock access and a premium spacious training environment.

The club and its staff have been eagerly awaiting the opening and have been heavily involved in the local community in the past few months.

Recently, the club raised more than £1,000 for Mikeysline in partnership with Tesco Dores, raised over £750 by hosting a spin marathon with Primark for Macmillan Cancer Support and brought in over £200 for a local border collie’s life-saving surgery.

“We’re delighted to open our doors to the local community,” said Donald Mackay, owner of Anytime Fitness Inverness. “We’re so proud to bring a new health club to Inverness and we’ve already enjoyed meeting hundreds of people in our first two days of trading.

"With our club being locally owned, community is everything to us and we hope visitors enjoy the supportive and non-intimidating environment that we’re looking to create.”

“Visitors will find state-of-the-art equipment, dedicated training areas, private showers and group exercise classes all as part of their membership.

"For those who travel, their membership also allows them to access any of the 180-plus Anytime Fitness clubs across the UK amd Ireland and close to 5,000 clubs worldwide.”

Anytime Fitness Inverness’ group exercise classes are due to launch next week and are all included as part of their membership.

The varied timetable includes more than 20 classes hosted throughout the week, ranging from high intensity classes, legs, bums and tums and Zumba, right the way through to yoga and pilates.
