Ness Book Fest is latest Highland event to be cancelled during Covid-19 coronavirus crisis

Organisers of the annual Ness Book Fest have announced that this year's event has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The event had been due to take place in October.

In a Facebook post organisers said: "It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel Ness Book Fest 2020 due to the current Covid-19 crisis.

"We will be back in full force next year – though in the meantime keep reading."
