High Life Highland has today issued their leisure centre opening hours over the festive period.

The new hours take into account the availability of some sites attached to schools which are closed over the festive period.

Steve Walsh, chief executive of High Life Highland. said: “We have been very pleased with the response from our customers since reopening in August and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support which is crucial for the charity as we look to consolidate going into the New Year.”

Some sites will see hours reduced over the festive period and others will remain closed in between Christmas and New Year.

Mr Walsh continued, “We have looked at capacity and through put figures from last year and based our festive opening patterns around that information.

"Some sites will remain closed in between Christmas and New Year because of that and a lack of access to sites which are attached to schools that are closed over the period.”

The updated opening times are published on highlifehighland.com and will be updated on social media channels locally.

Mr Walsh continued, “The Highlife scheme is such an important part of local communities with links to health benefits clearly seen in terms of both physical and mental health. With talk of vaccines and a return to a more normal lifestyle on the horizon during 2021 we look forward to welcoming customers back to their local venue.”

Opening hours information can be found at www.highlifehighland.com.
