Near-miss for passengers as drone hits bus travelling from Fort William to Inverness near Loch Ness

BUS passengers and their driver had a lucky escape after a drone crashed into their vehicle close to a major tourist attraction.

The double-decker Stagecoach number 919 travelling from Fort William to Inverness was close to Urquhart Castle when the drone hit it late on Monday morning.

The impact damaged the destination display screen on the front of the bus as one witness said things could have been much worse.
