A single ticket holder has scooped the £15 million lottery jackpot, meaning that Wednesday’s top prize will be £2 million.

Saturday’s draw was a “Must Be Won” Lotto jackpot and Andy Carter, the senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, urged players to check their tickets and call in to claim the “exciting” prize.

The jackpot winner matched all six main numbers while two players matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win £1 million.

The winning Lotto numbers were: 02, 20, 34, 40, 48, 59 and the bonus number was 06.

Set of balls 10 and draw machine Guinevere were used.

There were 84 players who won £1,750 after matching five of the six numbers.

No players matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, and none matched four numbers to claim £13,000.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 15, 21, 22, 25, 30 and the Thunderball number was 10.

No players matched five numbers and the Thunderball to scoop the £500,000 top prize but three players won £5,000 each for matching five numbers.
