The owners of a wool shop in Nairn are celebrating after being named in a national award.
Marie Mathews and Adam Thompson, from Nairn Wool Shop said they were delighted to be selected for the accolade.
In a post on soical media, the mother and son team said: "We can announce that Nairn Wool Shop came highly commended in the Independent Yarn Shop (Scotland) category in the British Knitting and Crochet Awards 2020!
"We are highly delighted with this accolade and wish to thank all our staff, our friends, our customers, our reps and a very lovely lady no longer with us that have supported us along the way.
"And a big congratulations to The Yarn Cake for winning top place and Ginger Twist Studio also placing highly commended, please give their page a visit they have amazing shops!
"We look forward to what 2021 will bring – lot's more wool – and wish everyone health and happiness!’
