A NAIRN man who threatened his family and police officers is to be placed under supervision for two years.

Ry Carswell (28) kicked off during a family argument on January 28, 2020 at a property in Moss-Side Brae – prompting a 999 call.

But when police arrived he continued threatening and abusive behaviour, Inverness Sheriff Court was told.

And during the journey to Burnett Road police station, Carswell, of Church Street, repeatedly headbutted and struck the cage area of a police vehicle as well as making threats to police constables and his family.
